This is either Fran far in the past or far into the future. I can't decide, though she's wearing an outfit inspired by the Viera archers from FF Tactics Advanced, which makes me think... uh, future? : D
This took me many days to finish. I'm a slow painter and it's a very large file; around 10 by 15 inches at 400 dpi. Painted in PhotoshopCS with a wacom tablet, I used the regular hard round brushes with the opacity and flow jitters set to pen pressure, but I also used some custom-made ink splatter brushes in the background. Yay background. Fran is of course, a character of Square-Enix, Final Fantasy XII is awesome blah blah blah <3 |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. Great job! Thats whats kinda daunting every time I sit down with a resolve to do a digital painting. Because I can start to gauge the huge amount of time it will take after I make just a few strokes. Thats about the time I give up.
