Actually there are male vieras and they are mentioned *somewhere* in FFXII... They're supposedly in separate villages from the females and only come over to... you know, increase the population
I can't help thinking off Lord of the Rings, and thinking maybe Viera male turned into trees... it would explain why the Viera love the forest so much... but... I just hope Viera males took a roadtrip ages ago, and just got lost... or something!
